and the SEND reforms are likely to be making it worse - we already have mainstreaming, and as you say, it isn't exactly working! Most of all, no-one ever asks why so many of our children have learning and behavioural difficulties. This is the whole point of my substack - drawing on our experience of having a son with regressive and severe autism to make these bigger points. As you do, I keep asking why?!
